Transmission of PRRS virus via oral ingestion for feed material

Research suggests that feed was a likely source of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus in domestic pigs via oral ingestion of feed material. Dr. Scott Dee of Pipestone Research, along with Travis Clement and Dr. Eric Nelson of South Dakota State University, have made this first-of-its-kind discovery. Dr. Dee joins us to explain.
