The Future of Regenerative Agriculture: What Lies Ahead

Regenerative agriculture is increasingly being heralded as a major potential solution to tackling emissions within farming. The current food system is responsible for approximately a third of global greenhouse gas emissions. Unsustainable practices, including a lack of water resources, soil degradation, biodiversity loss, land loss, waste, and pollution, are all common practices within the production of food. As the biggest emitter within the value chain, global farming practices urgently need to change to ensure we meet climate targets. We are facing a dual imperative of climate change and nature loss. We must adapt as we embrace more sustainable methods of food production. Everyone across the supply chain has an important role to play, from the farmer to manufacturers to retailers, all with a common goal of advancing sustainable farming practices. Join us on the 7th of January at 14:00 (GMT) as we look at the future of regenerative agriculture and what lies ahead in the development of a sustainable food system. • Vicky Robinson, Head of Sustainability, AIC • Jonathan Lane, Managing Director and UK Country Manager, ADM Agriculture Ltd and ADM UK • Anna Powell, Sales Consultant, Map of Ag • Louise Penn, Associate, Oxford, Ceres Rural • Claire Grant, Senior Project Manager, Ooni • Martin Lines, CEO, Nature Friendly Farming Network Enjoy the webinar!
