In ACTS OF FORGIVENESS an intergenerational family waits with bated breath to see if congress will finally pass The Forgiveness Act, a bill that will provide $175,000.00 to African Americans that can prove that they are related to once enslaved African Americans. As the family grapples with its own intimate struggles, the consequences of reparations forces them to contend with their familial legacy, hopes, and community.
