In celebration of National Moth Week (July 19-26th) join naturalist and artist Christine Elder to learn about and sketch a beautiful moth. Moths are the lesser known and appreciated relatives of butterflies and like their cousins, they play vital roles in the ecosystems they inhabit During the workshop Christine will lead you in a step-by-step drawing demonstration while she shares fascinating facts about moth anatomy, biology, and behavior. Folks who register at least one day before the event will be emailed a handout of high-resolution images of moths that will be used in the demonstration.
